Equal Time
Eli got a post the other day, so Basil and Tonks get their turn.
It's hard to tell from this tight shot, but the ladies are perched on a mattress standing on its end. They freakin' love that shit.
I don't know if this is universal to cats, but every time I stand a mattress up, it's "game on" in a matter of seconds.
Watching them climb it is a study in contrasting styles. Tonks (left) crouches down, leaps, and gets to the top in two cheetah-like moves. The less athletically-gifted Basil does it Spider-Man style -- she just grabs on and scales it one dug-in claw at a time.
