Your boyfriend must have been so gay when he got back!
My, how the meaning of words does change. Case in point...
I was tooling around on iTunes looking for a couple of oldies. And I came across the girl group The Angels, best known for their hit "My Boyfriend's Back" from the album by the same name.
Also on that record are two other songs with the word "Boyfriend" in them:
Number 1: "Has Anybody Seen My Boyfriend?" Clearly this was before she knew he was coming back, and that we were going to be in trouble.
Number 2: (and I stress that I am not making this up): "(You Can't Take) My Boyfriend's Woody."
