Swappin' books

Hat tip to M.C.C., whose Facebook comment introduced me to Paperback Swap.

It's a site where you post 10 books you're willing to trade to others, and when someone orders one of yours, you get a credit that lets you order one from someone else.

You pay shipping to send out your books ($2.23 media mail rate), and you pay nothing on arrivals. So "free" books just appear in the mail, and you simultaneously clear out unwanted books and promote the pre-owned book biz.

Seems fun so far. You get two credits just for signing up, and I've already sent out three books, which will earn me more credits when they arrive at their destination.
