And speaking of veterans...
For a while now, Amazon.com has been sending out these "Cell Phones for Soldiers" mailers inside their packages. (Another "liberal company"...helping the military? Imagine that!)I used the handy postage-paid mailer to send back a couple of our old phones. Just slap it in, seal it up, and drop it in a mailbox.
I had previously donated a phone to one of those "Cell Phones for Battered Women" recycling programs. But this service is well-run and marketed, it seems, to cater to those who may not have the time or dedication to seek out and visit a drop-off center. Well done, folks.
