MCE #6
Ok, No. 6 is a day late, but not a dollar short: Jerome Bettis.I feel like most of us guys could list a bunch of sports heroes -- particularly Steelers -- on a list like this, and I am no exception. Jerome stands at the top of that group, though. I know this because no regularly occurring Steeler event gave me a bigger thrill than seeing Jerome plow through a wave of linebacker humanity, crash to the ground, then get up and do "the dance."
But it takes more than that. He's also, by most accounts, a whale of a guy. He's got a great personal story to tell, and an admirable dedication to those who have been loyal to him.
