Paula Abdul is Jewish!
All these years, and I had no frickin' idea. I was reading an article in which recently-ousted American Idol contestant Elliot Yamin made mention of a special bond between himself and Paula, based on their shared religion. I thought he was joking!
I was going to ask how such a gem failed to make it into Adam Sandler's Hanukkah song, but I looked it up and apparently it made it into a third version of the tune. Didn't even know there was a third one.
