So long, and thanks for the Lombardi
Antwaan Randle El is officially the first Super Bowl Steeler to defect, becoming the latest person to be hit in the head with an oversized bag of Dan Snyder's cash.
He's a great guy and I'll be rooting for him with the Redskins. But, like so many free agent decisions (Edgerrin James to the freakin' Cardinals, for instance!) I wonder if the money will be worth it. For a few extra bucks, he gets to catch passes from an aging Mark Brunell or some crappy yahoo QB instead of from a rising superstar. And he'll still be second banana -- this time to Santana Moss.
