Heard through the grapevine....
Someone in Sen. Santorum's office reports that Tricky Rick has made a bet with colleague Ted Kennedy on tomorrow's Steelers-Pats game. It's the usual politician's bet -- meaning it's devoid of all creativity and involves food. The loser will buy lunch for the winner and 20 of his pals at his city's trademark restaurant (Legal Seafoods for Kennedy; Primanti Bros. for Santorum).
I personally think both men should put their careers where their mouths are. The bet should be: loser resigns from the Senate. Now that's a wager! And that way if the Patriots win, at least something good would come of it.
