The Arizona Cardinal's midlife crisis
The logo is 45 now, and he's looked the same since 1960. So the team has opted for a new look for its uniforms and helmets.
The AP says the new bird has "decidedly more evil eyes and a menacing expression," while team owner Bill Bidwill says it will hopefully usher in a new era of "tougher, faster, meaner players."
I don't know, man. I guess he's a tiny bit meaner. But he's still a freakin' cardinal. I mean, you just can't make a bird that isn't nasty seem nasty. I mean.....
