News and Notes
* Got a 5 on the quiz.
* Kudos to 74-year-old semi-retired broadcaster Pat Summerall, who had a liver transplant in April, yet is back in the booth doing a few preseason games for ESPN. Watching him work the Steelers-Eagles game last night, it's clear he's lost a couple steps in the sharpness department. Still, it's quite impressive to see him back at work after such an ordeal. He also told a story during the game that I'd never heard before: he says Art Rooney offered him the Steelers head coaching job before he hired Chuck Noll in 1969.
* World coming to an end: Bush admits a mistake. Oh wait, nope, just a "miscalculation." But still, that can be step one of his twelve-step program.
