And I'm not just saying this because he's on my fantasy team... 

There are always great players left off the All-Star teams, but is Joey Votto the most ridiculous snub in years?

Not only is he an All-Star, you could make a strong MVP case for him at the midway point of the season.

He's leading the National League in home runs, on-base percentage, slugging percentage, and OPS. He's third in batting average and just a handful off the lead in RBI which, if you're scoring at home, makes him a triple crown candidate. And he's got the Reds in first place in the NL Central. Sounds like MVP credentials to me.

Quite the head-scratcher.
