My, that's mighty generous 

There's been "an important change" to Verizon Online's Terms of Service. It is the following:

If you are on a term plan and Verizon ceases offering service to your location prior to the end of your term commitment, you will not have to pay an Early Termination Fee.
Prior to this you did have to pay an early termination fee? This seems like the most ridiculous thing ever.
