Fail
It's official: I lack the attention span to listen to audiobooks. I've tried multiple times. Can't do it. I give up.
I think part of the problem is that my mind is constantly racing. If my eyes are fixed on an actual book, I have much better luck staying focused. With audiobooks, though, I have to listen while my eyes are allowed to go elsewhere. And where the eyes go, the brain goes. It's hopeless. I end up missing whole paragraphs at a time, and I'm too obsessive to just accept that and move on.
Disappointing, since it is handy for commuting, etc. But whatcha gonna do.
