All the cool kids are doing it
You can sign up here, and supposedly you'll be among the first to know who Barack's VP pick is.
You can choose either text message or e-mail delivery. I chose text, and got a confirmation message in about 30 seconds.
Since it implies we'll be among the "first to know," I'm guessing they'll hit SEND about 5 seconds before they tell the media. But it's not really clear.
If it doesn't leak out first, it would be cool to get the text before it was on the news. Let's see if it works.
