Shooting blanks
Sometimes my fantasy baseball site doesn't have a picture of a particular player. When that happens, they use this image:
I find that pic much better than this one, which is used on another fantasy site:
A silhouette makes sense. The guy exists -- we just can't see him. But this poor bastard had his facial features erased in some bizarre acid mishap. I mean, it's creepy. Why does he still have ears? And isn't that facial hair?
