- TiVo alert: Colbert and O'Reilly meet face-to-face tonight.
- The Pirates finally get their power-hitting lefty, in exchange for closer Mike Gonzalez. I like the deal. Not sure it'll get them to .500, but if the pitchers start to turn the corner...who knows? The only downside is, no more "BOOM!"
- The Steelers are still doing coach interviews. I just heard this soundbite on the radio from Russ Grimm:
I feel confident as far as when to use timeouts, when to throw the (challenge) flag, when to run or pass, when to punt, when to go for it.
Well, gee, that's encouraging!!
To be fair, here's the rest of the context. He continued:Sometimes they're gut feelings, sometimes everybody in the stands feels one way and you feel another. Am I saying I'm not going to make any mistakes? No. But the more you coach, the more you see and those things come up and you learn from them.
