Text messaghog
I've been doing a lot of text messaging lately, and I had always done the tedious thing where you scroll through to put each letter in. Now I'm using the "word recognition" feature, where you just punch numbers and hope it knows what the hell you're trying to say.
It's pretty good, but like closed captioning (which was the subject of one of my earliest blog entries) it has its flaws.
For instance, I was typing the word "daydreaming." It knew "daydream." But when I added the "-ing," the word changed to DAYDREAMHOG.
Not sure what the programming logic was on that one.
