Fun with movie quotes
A couple days ago the AFI came out with its top 100 movie quotes of all time. Here are some of my personal favorites -- mostly silly comedy ones -- that didn't make the cut. They're not in any order. Feel free to add to the list....
"Bueller. Bueller. Bueller. Bueller." (Ferris Bueller's Day Off)
"Up yer butt, Jobu." (Major League)
"It's not a tumah." (Kindergarten Cop)
"Never go in against a Sicilian when death is on the line!" (Princess Bride)
"1.21 gigowatts!" (Back to the Future)
"It's only a flesh wound." (Monty Python and the Holy Grail)
"I'm gonna get medieval on your ass." (Pulp Fiction)
"Joey, have you ever been to a Turkish prison?" (Airplane!)
"Yeah. I'm an excellent driver." (Rain Man)
"Would you say you have a plethora?" (Three Amigos)
"The price is wrong, bitch!" (Happy Gilmore)
"Help is on the way!" (Mrs. Doubtfire)
I feel that Pulp Fiction in particular was unjustly shunned, given that it's a hugely quotable movie, and currently sits at #11 on IMDB's Top 250 list.
