Frist is really a sick bastard
Both Hammer and Andrew Sullivan -- among many others -- take note of Bill Frist's despicable behavior on his Tsunami tour.
But then, is this surprising?
This is a dude who admits that, while in med school, he would fool animal shelters into thinking he wanted to adopt cats as pets, only to kill them by performing illegal medical experiments on them. While using animals is something that med schools do legitimately, he felt he needed more cats than he got in class, so he could perform experiments on his own -- like some kind of mad scientist!
"I was going a little crazy," Frist has said. "It was a heinous and dishonest thing to do."
Same could be said for his little photo op.
