....Jon Stewart was the guest, talking to hosts Paul Begala and Tucker Carlson. Stewart was uncharacteristically serious, and really wanted to tell these guys what he thinks of the punditry, and the media's laziness and lack of effort at uncovering the truth. Both Carlson and Begala defended Crossfire and the other pundit shows from Stewart's attacks, because that's what they do. But Carlson was getting much more irritated than Begala, and the talk got a bit contentious between the two, with Tucker asking if Stewart "lectures people like this when you go over to their house for dinner." Finally, at the end, there was this exchange:

CARLSON: "Jon Stewart, thanks for joining us, you're really much more fun on your own show."

STEWART: "Yes, and you're much more of a dick on yours!"

Tucker turned beet red, and Jon probably won't be on Crossfire again any time soon!

UPDATE: Media Matters actually has the full transcript, and it's really something. He just went on there with an agenda and went after them from the git-go. I'm certain they had no idea this was his intention! Quite amusing. I also didn't quite get the quote right since I was doing it from memory -- it was "You know what's interesting, though? You're as big a dick on your show as you are on any show!"
