Yee-haw, Conan!

In an interesting bit of advance planning, NBC has announced that Jay Leno will retire from the Tonight Show in 2009, to be replaced by "Late Night" co-host Conan O'Brien. In my humble opinion, Conan's show has been funnier than Leno and Letterman's for a long time anyway, so it's great that he's going to get to be the Big Cheese -- but a shame we have to wait 5 years to get him on at a reasonable hour!
